What age groups does Bizi Beez cater for?

We care for children from 3 months up to 6 years (Grade R):

  • Nursery: 3 months to 1 year 11 months
  • RRR: 2 to 3 years
  • RR: 4 years
  • Grade R: 5 to 6 years

What are the school hours?

Gates open at 7:00 AM. The instructional day runs from 8:00 AM.

  • Morning ring: Starts promptly at 8:00 AM
  • Gates close: 8:30 AM
  • Collection: 1:30 PM for children not attending aftercare.

Aftercare starts at 1:30 PM. It costs R400 per month until 3:00 PM or R600 per month until 5:00 PM.

What should my child bring to school?

  • A healthy, nutritious packed lunch and juice
  • Water bottle
  • Spare change of clothes (especially for younger children)
  • Sun hat in summer

Please do NOT send chips, sweets, toys, jewellery, or money.

What fees and payment options are available?

Fees vary by age group. Monthly fees range from R1,000 to R1,450 (paid over 11 months, January to November). Registration fees range from R500 to R2,000 (once-off).

Payment options:

  1. Monthly: Due by the 28th of each month
  2. Quarterly: Due first week of each term
  3. Annually: Due first week of the school year

Do you provide meals?

Parents provide their child’s meals. A sandwich and juice is sufficient, but a yogurt or fruit may also be included. Please do not send chips or sweets — these will be removed and sent home with the child at the end of the day.

Is there a uniform?

Yes, uniform is compulsory. Once added to the school groups, parents can order uniforms via an online order form. Details are provided upon registration.

What documents do I need to register?

  • Copy of your child’s birth certificate
  • Immunisation card (this is a Health Department requirement)
  • Copy of parent/guardian ID
  • If possible: previous school report and doctor’s assessments

What about illness and absences?

Please phone the school if your child will be absent. Children with contagious diseases or infections must be kept home until these have cleared up. Children with a persistent runny nose or bad cough should also stay at home. A doctor’s letter is required if your child is absent for more than 3 days.

What extra-mural activities are included?

All included in your monthly fee:

  • Swimming
  • Baking
  • Athletics
  • Music and Drama
  • Computer Classes (Grade R only)

How safe is the school?

Safety is our priority. The gate is locked from 8:30 AM. Please phone the school if you arrive after the gate closes. Children must be personally handed over to a staff member on arrival. No child is released to anyone not known to the school staff. Parents are asked to notify the school if someone other than the usual person will be collecting their child.
