A Day at Bizi Beez
7:00 AM — Arrival & Free Play
Gates open. Children are personally handed over to a staff member. Free play until the school day begins.
8:00 AM — School Day Begins
Morning ring starts promptly at 8:00 AM, with greetings and a welcome circle.
8:30 AM — Learning Activities
Gates close at 8:30 AM. Please phone the school for access after this time. Age-appropriate educational activities: sensory play for babies, motor skills for toddlers, and literacy, numeracy, and life skills for older children. Music, drama, and creative arts are woven throughout.
10:00 AM — Snack Time & Outdoor Play
Healthy snack from home, followed by outdoor play, athletics, and swimming (included in fees).
11:00 AM — Lifeskills & Creative Activities
Baking, arts and crafts, storytelling, and computer classes (Grade R). Building practical skills through hands-on fun.
12:00 PM — Learning Activities
Age-appropriate activities include sensory play, motor skills, literacy, numeracy, life skills, music, drama and art.
12:30 PM — Quiet Rest Time
A calm period for rest, quiet reading, or gentle activities. Babies and toddlers nap as needed throughout the day.
1:00 PM — Grade R Learning Activities
Grade R learning activities continue with literacy, numeracy, life skills, music, drama and art. Aftercare starts at 1:30 PM.
1:30 – 5:00 PM — Collection & Aftercare
The school day ends at 1:30 PM. Aftercare offers supervised free play, quiet activities, and individual attention. Choose collection by 3:00 PM (R400 per month) or 5:00 PM (R600 per month).
Activities vary by term. We send families a monthly calendar with the activity schedule.
What to Bring
